The Hip Hop Journalism Association (HHJA) is
a not-for-profit (501c-3 pending) organization of scholars, students,
and media professionals dedicated to increasing integrity in the field
of Hip Hop Journalism. Through its innovative programs, initiatives,
and charitable events HHJA is committed to leveraging the power and
influence of the Hip Hip Journalism industry in order to positively
impact the global Hip Hop community.
2007 HHJA Conference & Convention Our bi-annual meeting was held in Miami, FL and was sponsored by Borders Books and Music, Slip-N-Slide Records, the South Florida Times, Babygrande Records, and CrackSpace.com. The 2009 HHJA Conference & Convention will be held in NYC this fall.
